SEARCH CONTINUES FOR REGIONAL CARRIER IN NARRABRI
When Vincent Aviation went into receivership last month, not long after launching its flight service in Narrabri, it left the country town without a regional carrier for the second time.
The hunt is still on to secure a new flight service for the area, but there’s a number of things that need to be done before the tender process can begin.
“Vincent Airlines still own the license for that regular passenger route, they would need to return it or give it back up to New South Wales Transport, so it’s a state process that looks at regulating those licenses.”
Once this has taken place the state government will call on applicants to show interest in taking over the service.
