NSW TREASURER DELIVERS BUDGET

The New South Wales Treasurer has delivered the budget the Baird Government will take to the next election.

He says they’ve been able to absorb the impact of federal cuts to health and education, but that won’t always be the case.

And across our bureaus…

 –There’s been a record investment for the Central Coast with the big winners roads, health, education and disability services.

The Hunter wasn’t forgotten in the state budget, with an additional $100-million allocated to projects throughout the region.

-Hospitals across the Mid North Coast fared well in today’s state budget, with funds allocated towards continued re-development works at Port Macquarie and Kempsey.

$185 million has been allocated in the state budget to build a second bridge over the Clarence River in Grafton.

The Tamworth electorate has been allocated a record $248 million in today’s state budget.

And the Northern Rivers has also received a hand out when it comes to health.
