Authorities have renewed calls for people to avoid the notorious Snapper Point sea cave, after six people became stuck on nearby rocks yesterday afternoon.
Lake Macquarie lifeguards took to the water to free the group.
It’s the second call for help at the drowning hotspot since Friday.
