A little known whale species is under the care of experts at Sea World after beaching itself at Brunswick Heads last night.
The 2-point-8 metre Melon Headed Whale – which is pregnant – has undergone tests to determine its illness.
“At this point in time our prognosis isn’t good. there’s a lot of issues to be considered”
Melon-Headed Whales are rarely seen close to shore.
