Tamworth Regional Council is set to be reimbursed by the State Government for emergency works to save both Manilla and Bendemeer’s water supply.
The $40,000 in emergency drought funding will ensure the continued function of Bendemeer’s emergency bore.
While the Namoi River has been dredged to clear a major silt problem behind the weir.
