The Gold Coast University Hospital is one of just two hospitals Queensland wide granted funding for a new Youth Cancer Service.
It’s dedicated to cancer sufferers aged 15 to 25.. and is expected to be up and running by early next year.
The service is funded by Canteen, and will also be introduced at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
