‘Tis the time of year to be jolly, but we’re being urged not to get too silly this silly season.
Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson today wishing the electorate a happy, and safe, holiday period.
“Whether you’re on the roads, or whether you’re walking the streets visiting one of our many attractions with family, and friends. Firstly on the roads plenty of police about, double demerit points and Operation Safe Arrival.”
Local police also reminding motorists they’ll be out in force monitoring the roads.
“We’re targeting RBT like we always do drink driving that’s a huge issue, we’re also targeting fatigue as we speak to drivers and they come across our way. Anything that causes trauma or potential risks to the community we’re having a look at.”
