A 19-year-old man has been charged over a vicious attack, that left a Maitland father of two in hospital with serious head injuries.
Police say 39-year-old Tom Biviano tried to break up a street fight, when he was bashed early on Saturday morning.
A 19-year-old from Rutherford has been bailed to appear in Maitland Court next month.
