Fire and Rescue NSW have extinguished a unit fire in Hamilton South this morning.
Two crews were forced to wear breathing apparatus, due heavy smoke on the second floor of the Fowler Street unit complex.
The fire totally consumed the unit, and no-one was home at the time.
It’s believed the fire began on a mattress, where lit cigarettes where found.
The incident is the latest in a string of fires on the street.
