A growing demand for aged care places will see the multi-million dollar expansion of a Redhead retirement village.
The Whiddon Group is expected to start work within months on a new double-storey facility, while upgrading its existing accommodation at Redhead Road.
The $38-million project will create 115 new aged care places, along with the current 60 rooms.
It will also see the addition of a specialist dementia unit, clubhouse and extra parking.
It should be complete in 2020.
