Two men aged 24 and 31 will appear at Maitland Local Court today, following investigations into a number of Hunter region break and enters.
The 24-year-old man was arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station yesterday, when police allegedly witnessed a drug transaction and seized a small amount of methylamphetamine and house breaking implements.
Police then searched three homes in Raymond Terrace and Hamilton where they located a shotgun, ammunition and drugs.
A 21 and 31-year-old man were then arrested.
The men were charged with a number of offences including aggravated break and enter and possessing a prohibited drug.
The 21-year-old was granted conditional bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court next month.
