NSW AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS REACH AGREEMENT ON NDIS TRIAL

The Federal and New South Wales governments have reached a deal to trial the National Disability Insurance Scheme in the Hunter.

The trial will involve around 10,000 disabled people in the Hunter Valley.

Acting Prime Minister Wayne Swan says the development is a significant step forward after a stalemate on the issue in last week’s Council of Australian Governments meeting in Canberra.
