The state member for Wallsend Sonia Hornery has been elected as the opposition’s Shadow Minister for the Hunter.
It comes after the government yesterday announced George Souris would take on the role as Minister for the Hunter.
Ms Hornery lists key issues as the completion of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass, the Glendale interchange and a solution to the Adamstown rail crossing as priorities.
