For thousands of Hunter families, it’s as big a part of Christmas as the jolly man in red, and last night they turned out in fine voice for the Speers Point Carols by Candlelight.
With candles held high, the big crowd enjoyed a stunning clear evening by the lake.
Many brought rugs and picnics and settled in for the duration, entertained by a string of performers on stage.
