The long awaited upgrade to Grafton’s Regional Airport will go ahead in the new year.
The Federal Government has confirmed it will spend more than a million dollars funding the project just south of Grafton.
The airport upgrade will include an expansion of the terminal, more facilities for helicopters and additional car parking.
Meanwhile, the Member for Cowper Luke Hartsuyker says almost a million dollars has also been allocated for sporting facilities at Maclean’s Wherrett Park and half a million dollars for McLauchlan Park.
