ROBBERY AT DEEP SEA FISHING CLUB IN COFFS
Two members of staff at the Deep Sea Fishing Club in Coffs Harbour were terrorised by armed
intruders during a hold-up last night.
Police say a female staffer was threatened in the car park at closing time around 9.30 by three men wearing balaclavas and carrying knives.
They forced her back into the club house office where she and a male employee handed over a substantial quantity of cash.
Inspector Darren Jameson said,”the description we’ve been given are males of aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance and in their early 20s.”
The two club staff members were not injured during the robbery.
