ST VINCENT’S HOSPITAL UNVEILS ITS EDUCATION CENTRE

St Vincent’s Private Hospital today opened its brand new $884 000 medical education centre with a catholic blessing.
The state of the art facility was funded by the federal government and will be used as a training hub for health workers across the region.
“We have the latest in equipment, technology training aids to teach nursing staff, registras, GP’s, medical staff right throughout the community.”(community 10 secs)

The centre will also be home to Hal, a simulation mannequin that can be used to recreate emergency scenarios.
The facility was built using funds from the government’s clinical teaching and training grants, which is part of its program to expand the rural health workforce.
