BEACH MOTEL DEVELOPER OFFERS MONEY FOR PARKING

Time has run out for the public to have a say on the proposed $4.7 million redevelopment of the Beach Motel in Woolgoolga.

Under a new planning agreement with Coffs Harbour City Council, developers have agreed to pay an additional car parking contribution of $126,000.

The original development application included underground parking but that has since been removed.

The owners want to transform the existing motel into an upmarket licensed venue with a bar that closes at midnight.
