A second person has been charged following an investigation into the alleged large-scale supply of cannabis on the state’s north coast.
Detectives undertook a search on a Pacific Highway home, after receiving reports a man was supplying of cannabis at Nabiac, near Taree.
During the search police allegedly located and seized 24.5kg of cannabis and $500,000 in cash along with a firearm and ammunition.
A 60-year-old man and 44-year-old woman have now been charged in relation to the investigation.
The woman will appear in Taree Local Court next month.
