Police are hunting a brazen thief, who stole a bag of cash from a security guard in Surfers Paradise yesterday afternoon.
According to witnesses a young man watched the guard unload a bag of gold coins onto a trolley before he struck.
“The kid let him get 50 or 60 yards in front of him, then he ran up behind him and grabbed the bag of gold coins from the trolley and took off down the street.”
The guard pulled his gun and chased the man, but he got away.
