First – out of control bushfires, now flooding rain just a few weeks later, it’s no surprise many Hunter residents are on edge.
More than 250 millimetres of rain drenched parts of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley since 9am yesterday… and flood warnings are in place for the Paterson and Williams Rivers.
Nobbys Head has measured record levels, the most rain in more than 100 years for the month of November.
