FRIENDS REMEMBER AND HONOUR YOUNG KORBIN SCOTT
Friends and relatives today gathered to farewell young Korbin Sprott, who was mauled by a pet German Shepherd at his grandmother’s home in Mackay just over a week ago.
His father James Sprott grew up in Wallsend and asked family friend Lee Evans to plan the farewell – to not only say goodbye but also honour the three-year-old who was an organ donor.
“He’s donated his organs to save the lives of three little babies so I guess that means his spirit will live on and he is our little hero for doing that.” said Lee Evans.
A ceremony was also held in Mackay – with balloons released in Korbin’s favourite colour.
