Gold Coasters may still have four years to wait until the Commonwealth Games arrive, but locals got to experience some of the excitement this morning.
The Queen’s Baton Relay reached our shores yesterday, today the iconic symbol of the games was on show for two hours at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Australia is the ninth country to receive the baton leading up to the Glasgow Games.
