Two grass fires broke out almost simultaneously in Tamworth this afternoon, one in Green Street at Coledale, the other on the Bicentennial park levee bank near Bridge street.
Just before 3 o’clock, two New South Wales Fire and Rescue crews responded, extinguishing the blaze quickly.
New South Wales Fire and Rescue believes both blazes were deliberately lit.
