The fight continues for Bangalow residents keen to see their historic weir repaired, not ripped out.
A report set for Thursday’s council meeting recommends the structure be demolished at a cost of $60,000.
The Bangalow Weir Group claims a lack of council maintenance caused the damage in the first place, and are calling for the recommendation to be rejected.
