A woman will front Narrabri Local Court next month over a protest at Whitehaven’s Tarrawonga coal mine yesterday.
The woman suspended herself on a tree platform attached to the mine’s main gate in Boggabri.
After initially refusing to leave the platform, police eventually assisted the 22-year-old woman down.
She was arrested and charged with two offences, including hindering the working of mine equipment.
