Hastings River has defeated Macleay Valley in the first representative cricket match of the season, making an impressive 232 runs against Macleay’s 107.
Stand out performances came from Nathan Kerr who made 49 runs, while Wauchope’s Blake Larance and Camden Haven’s Daniel Minns each had 28.
The next round will see Macleay Valley host Manning River in Kempsey on November 10.
