The Queensland Premier has announced plans to issue three new “casino licences”, in a bid to attract billions in overseas visitor dollars, but there’s no guarantee the Gold Coast will get one.
There was also a slap in the face to the state’s existing casinos, with Campbell Newman labelling them ‘run down’.
