A massive search is underway on the Central Coast for an armed gunman.
Police allege the 33-year-old fired several shots at a car at Budgewoi just after 4 o’clock this morning before fleeing.
The 22-year-old woman driving the car was not hurt.
He was later spotted behind the wheel of a black sedan at Doyalson, and led police on a chase before dumping the car in bushland at Lemon Tree.
The man has been described as Caucasian, about 185cm tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper and cargo pants.
Police are advising the public not to approach the man as he may still be armed.
