WATER BORES TO UNDERGO FURTHER TESTING

Testing of Woolomin’s water bores will begin in the new year, following a fuel spill.
The environmental watchdog has commissioned independent contractor GHD to check the current level of contamination, after 400 litres of fuel was spilt in February.
Three months ago the state government spent $360,000 as part of the clean up efforts.
Inspections are expected to begin in January.
