A tradesman has been killed, while another man is fighting for his life after suffering severe burns when his boat exploded at Paradise Point on the Gold Coast this morning.
The blast rattled homes 200 metres away.
“I heard the boom and then suddenly there wer flames coming out of the side and within two minutes it was shheewwww.”
It’s believed welding near a fuel tank sparked the explosion.
