The Hunter has sadly been well represented in the long weekend road toll, with two young men killed, including a trailbike rider who crashed into a tree at Freemans Waterhole.
Meanwhile, there’s been heavy southbound traffic throughout the day on the M1 Motorway, as holidaymakers head home… and around Heatherbrae and Hexham.
