LISMORE COUNCIL APPROVE DRAFT 2020/21 BUDGET

Lismore City Council last night approved a draft budget which will now go on public exhibition for 28 days.
Many projects have been scrapped or shelved due to a lack of funding, including updating the flood plain risk management plan, and upgrading footpaths within the CBD.
Residential ratepayers will be paying on average an extra $44 under the draft budget.
It comes as council estimates a $1.5m revenue loss due to the pandemic.
