EMMA MOFFATT SECURES SPOT IN COMMONWEALTH GAMES

Gold Coast Triathlete Emma Moffatt has earned a place in next year’s Commonwealth Games after placing third at the World Triathlon Championships in London.
It was the same course, she crashed out on during the London Olympics – but this time, the 29-year-old pulled-through.
‘When I got off the bike I was happy I didn’t have any blood or guts or buising so happy to be in the pack and nice to come back and actually finish.’
Moffatt ended the eight-leg WTS Series as the highest-placed Australian in 6th spot.
