BRIDGE ON THE MOO-VE

The overpass that famously collapsed on the New England Highway at Maitland is finally set to be re-opened, more than two years after it was brought down by a truck carrying a cherrypicker.
The RTA installed the new $2-million bridge last October, but it was left to the Australian Rail Track Corporation to link it with a walkway on the rail side.
The ARTC says work should be completed by Friday afternoon, just in time for the thousands of revellers expected at the Groovin’ The Moo music festival.
