With his trusty lawnmower and donation bucket Bravehearts supporter, Claude Harvey is pounding the pavement.. all the way from Tweed Heads to Hope Island, for the 11th time.
He’s raising money to help protect children from abuse.
“I’m taking longer this year. Instead of five days I’m taking 10 days, so you talk to more people and get more people interested in Bravehearts.”
The 68-year-old grandfather’s epic journey, coincides with National Child Protection week.
Maitland and Newcastle Catholic schools are also taking part in the awareness campaign
