TAMWORTH REGION ONE STEP CLOSER TO BEING A GREENER PLACE TO LIVE

Tamworth could be soon be greener with council set to vote on whether to adopt a plan to manage trees in urban areas.

The plan aims to have more native and exotic trees planted in the region, and to determine which plants need to be removed.

Councillors will make their decision on Tuesday.
