Key Nationals have announced a funding deal to complete the Moree bypass if the Coalition is elected at this weekend’s election
The federal government and the state government would each provide $15 million for the project.
With planning complete and designs finalised, construction could begin halfway through next year.
The completion of the bypass would improve road safety, travel times and efficiency for freight trucks along the Newell Highway.
