Young people in crisis on the Northern Rivers will soon have a safe place to access specialised mental health support.
Today the North Coast Medicare Local signed the lease on its new “Headspace’ centre in Lismore, which will open early next year.
“It will be a one stop shop – a very welcoming place where people can come and feel that they are not in a hospital – they are not being judged and that they can receive help.”
Currently the closest Headspace centre is in Coffs Harbour.
