A good samaritan has allegedly been king hit at Burleigh, after coming to the defence of a woman apparently being threatened by another man.
To make matters worse, after the punch to the face, the victim lost his balance and broke his ankle as he fell.
The suspect, believed to be drunk, ran away, but was later arrested.
