POLICE APPEAL AFTER MAN FOUND WITH 5 KILOS OF SILVER BULLION

Police are now appealing for information from the public after finding five kilos of silver bullion on a man exiting a train in Newcastle.
About 11am on July 25th Police Transport Command officers stopped the 34-year-old at Broadmeadow station and located three, one kilogram silver bars and a number of silver coins.
Police allege the man failed to prove he owned the collection, and are appealing for information about who may own it.
He was issued a court attendance notice for goods in custody and is due to appear in Newcastle Local Court on Tuesday 8 October 2013.
