A man will spend at least 17 years behind bars over the bashing murder of an elderly man in Kempsey in 2010.
Richard Keith Smith faced Port Macquarie Supreme Court today, charged over the death of 75-year-old Stanley Davies.
Two other men in their 20s have also been charged over the incident and will face court at a later date.
