SYDNEY TRIP FOR TAREE UGL EMPLOYEES

The Palmer United Party’s Matt Adamson, is organising a trip to Sydney next Tuesday for employees of UGL’s Taree facility.
Last Friday the manufacturer announced it would cease operations in October because it was unable to secure new work to keep the site active.
Its 133 workers will be moved or made redundant.
“My call to action is I want to get these men and women one a bus and get them to Sydney and front up in front of the right representation of UGL and ask them, can we save these jobs? I believe we can.”
