LIBERAL CANDIDATE FOR CHARLTON QUITS FOLLOWING LEWD COMMENTS ONLINE

Liberal candidate in the seat of Charlton Kevin Baker has resigned, following revelations his personal website contained lewd and sexist content.
Mr Baker was contesting former minister Greg Combet’s NSW seat of Charlton.
He has been forced to shut down his ‘Mini-Mods’ forum site for car enthusiasts after it was found to contain references to incest, domestic violence, racism and child abuse.
Earlier today Penny Wong called for Opposition Leader Tony Abbott to sack the candidate.
Mr Abbott acceped Mr Baker’s apology, but this afternoon Mr Baker resigned.
The Party will not be represented in the seat of Charlton this election.
