The Greens have called for Eraring Power Station to be closed, and replaced by a renewable source of energy.
The party claims Lake Macquarie residents are being exposed to dangerous chemicals, being dumped in the station’s ash ponds.

That information they’ve come up with is ridiculous, that dust they’ve filmed was kicked up by a ute driving on a dirt road alongside the ash dam, and the ash dam is far from being dusty.
