A 23-year-old man is in a serious but stable condition in Tweed Heads hospital after an alleged stabbing in Byron Bay yesterday.
Around 12:30pm, police were called to Sharkies Beach, where they found a man with stab wounds to his abdomen.
A 30-year-old man has been charged with maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm over the incident.
