A 20-year-old Sydney driver suffered serious head injuries when he was thrown from the cab of a removalist’s truck which left the New England Highway and rolled several times.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Duri-Dungowan Road shortly before five yesterday afternoon, where they found the truck on its side.
Its load of furniture and household items were scattered across a neighbouring paddock.
The man was rushed to Tamworth hospital.
