HUNDREDS TAKE ON PORT MACQUARIE SAND MUDDER

It was anything but a lazy Sunday at Port Macquarie’s Town Beach, with more than 400 people taking on the Sand Mudder.
Participants crawled, climbed and jumped their way through a 4.5 kilometre course, featuring 20 obstacles.
“They love it, they love it, it’s tougher this year, that’s one of the big reasons – it’s a bit longer, it’s a bit tougher,” Tacking Point Lions Club’s Rob Bruce said.
The annual event raised thousands of dollars for mental health support group, Headspace, and Port Macquarie Marine Rescue.
