Residents in Iluka are being warned of a conman who is door knocking in the area, offering home maintenance services.
The Department of Fair Trading says it received a tip-off about the man, which the department claims is driving a silver Great Wall ute, with New South Wales number plates.
People are also being reminded to check the contractor license of tradesmen offering services worth more than $1,000.
