WEATHER UPDATE: WINTER’S RETURN

The change is now moving across the broadcast region delivering widespread rain with a few storms embedded in the front. This large band of cloud will contract to the NE with the rain clearing from the Western Plains and Hunter as the wet weather moves to the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast.

The air behind the pre frontal trough is cooler, It is also drier, so once it clears we can expect plenty of sunshine,. The catch is the second batch of air is much colder moving in overnight Saturday into Sunday dropping temperatures significantly for a very cold start to the new week.
